Place the garlic, onion, pecans, tarragon and butter in a sauce pan and cook until golden. In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and beer & add to the onion mixture. Cook and stir until thickened. Add the cheddar and cream cheese & stir until melted. Serve with French bread. Yields 12 portions |
